Lapland is undoubtedly a place fascinating with its beauty. Beautiful landscapes, Northern lights, snow but sometimes it also could challenge you. Cold temperatures (sometimes -45), wild nature... So, I am here to help you. I have an experience of working as a tourist guide in Finnish Lapland for more than 5 years and know everything (even more) about this area. If you want to come to Lapland to relax and do not worry about anything, I am the person you need :)

Where you'll be

The place depends on weather conditions but it is always next to the river or lake because it has to be some free space to see the Northern lights. Moreover, there is always a bonfire on the place we go.

Aleksei is very patient , kind, and helpful tour guide. He is fun to be with and very attentive to his client’s requests and questions. He maximized his time and take good photos. I almost gave up the chance of seeing the northern lights but he keeps his positivity and brought me to 3 different locations. I am very satisfied with the experience of seeing the northern lights twice during our “Northern Lights Hunting” tour. He even gave me some tips for the other tour plans as DIY. Very friendly and accommodating… 👍👍 I highly recommend him. See you in my next tour at rovaniemi Aleksei! Thank you very much ! I appreciate it 🙂 It is a great rovaniemi experience and memory !!!

Aleksei was not available the day we wanted to hunt the aurora lights so he redirected us to his colleague (also Alex) to bring us around instead. It was such a wonderful experience even though we booked with him at the very last minute. I am certain an experience with Aleksei will be just as good as the one we had with his colleague Alex. Highly recommend! So worth the money :)

Aleksei is a really great host! We have spent a wonderful night hunting the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to find some. But it was really awesome spending time around campfire, burning marshmallows, eating, talking with him... He didn't hesitate to drive us to different locations to maximise our chances to see some. At the end, we had the chance to visit Santa's village by night, with the beautiful lights. Aleksei took some pictures for us! He gives good advice and have good driving skills! I totally recommend this activity!

The trip was really amazing Aleksei was a great host who was really friendly and chill he really had an honest enjoyment of the northern lights and the artic style of living that made the adventures a lot nicer it was also nice speaking with him in Russian although his English is pretty perfect. We did see the lights with him and it was really awesome. Highly recommend. Note for anyone that will come on the trip its really really cold for the last 30 minutes and you should bring your most warm clothes possible (like 3-4 pairs of socks, blankets) there is a nice big warm fire but you’ll be outside for a few hours and its 100% necessary.
