What you'll do

Experience a photojournalistic and Magazine editorial Photo Shoot surrounded by Neon signs and Izakaya Alleys to Sci-Fi Film set inspiration in; Shinjuku Golden Gai to Harajuku Takeshita-dori via Izakaya alleys, back streets and Yamanote (Green Line) train ride

I will share the philosophy and the mindset of a Photojournalist and Magazine Fashion Editorial Photo Shoot- immediately afterward, you will experience your editorial photoshoot in the middle of Tokyo... (Your editorial will have stylized photos ready for an issue of Harpers Bazaar, Esquire or Vogue.) and this all happens during a tour of my favorite photo locations around Tokyo...

Many of the locations will have a unique random esoteric look that only the streets of Tokyo can provide; I will tell you about the character and unique vibe of the area, as we create the images for your editorial photoshoot; amongst the pockets of “old Tokyo” and the new Metropolitan areas-

This editorial shoot will be composed of multiple sequences of shots as we progress through the alleys and the busy intersections of Tokyo...-

I will teach you quick but effective approaches to dynamic posing and show you small changes to your favorite poses that add variety to any repertoire... You will look tall, confident and graceful, even if it's your first time in front of a professional photographer-
Other things to note
-After the shoot... I will send you a dropbox link with high resolution, lightly retouched JPEG images... ready to post on your social media-

-please be mindful that wardrobe changes are possible, but will take time away from the shoot...

I am an accomplished editorial and fine art photographer; I specialize in photojournalism and reportage- I have photographed critters, places and human beings in multiple countries across four continents-

I have covered photo assignments in just about every type of environment, event and situation imaginable... from minus 14-degree arctic locations to sub-Saharan and remote villages in 3rd world countries... I have photographed places westerners seldom venture into-

I make reportage photographs that are editorial and documentary in style- my photoshoots are made up of "mini" stories that make larger narratives-

I shoot to "get it in camera" which stems from learning photography on film and not relying on a computer to make the photo acceptable; never trust a photographer who says "I'll fix it in photoshop later"
