What we’ll do

Starting at the Prado and Malecón, we will begin discovering the history of Spanish rule in Cuba. We will visit the main fortresses and buildings that today mark the pride of our people for all their fighting to get rid of a ruler who wanted to crush our will, but couldn’t. We will learn other details of the city back when it was conquered by those who wanted to rule the New World. Let’s find out…

Bring your camera to take pictures of the view and the event. Don´t forget to bring cash for the taxi back home and for the tickets for the ceremony. The tickets are 8cuc/p.

Where you'll be

We will start in what is known today as Centro Habana—Central Havana—the outside city that the Spanish started building shortly before losing the country. We will go to the inside city, known today as Habana Vieja—the original city of San Cristobal de La Habana—and end up in the castle built by Spain to defend the city.
