What you'll do

Join us for an interactive multimedia experience, hosted from my home to yours via Zoom!

Through my pre-recorded videos of Old Quebec, behind-the-scene stories, and interactive games, we’ll experience this community’s culture, including its history, language, architect, food and drinks.

We will also hear stories about those first settlers, King’s daughters, British soldiers and modern politic events.
I design this interactive digital experience to bring Old Quebec to you (with family and friends) at home. At the end of the experience, you’ll feel to ask me any questions about Quebec.
Other things to note
You will need a phone or a computer with a stable wifi connection.

Bienvenue à Québec!
I am Sunny, an international citizen who lives in Quebec City since 2011.
As a certified trilingual tour guide, travel addict and Canadian history & culture obsessive, my goal is to take you on a sensory adventure through the rich history and unique culture of Quebec City.
My tours combine local knowledge with a foreigner’s curiosity and point of view. Because sometimes the things that are obvious from a Québecois perspective are NOT AT ALL obvious to those of us who lack the same context.

If you have never been to Quebec City, this is the way to go! We were supposed to visit this year but with Covid we decided to go virtual. Sunny really seemed to enjoy giving the tour and made it not only fun but educational. I would recommend it to anyone!

Did a private tour for my Mom’s birthday. She is retired French teacher. We enjoyed interacting though we are all in different states.

Sunny gave a great tour of Quebec City and the history of how it came to be. We got to see different parts of Upper and Lower town as well as many historic buildings in the city. She also showed us pictures of different annual festivals held in the city and different foods to try when we visit. Fun way to explore a new city from home!

We enjoy visiting Canada, but I'd never been to Quebec City before. I was interested in learning more about it. Sunny was a great host, who gave a wonderful presentation. We learned so much about the geography and history of Quebec, which was very interesting. Sunny even showed us how she and her family collects maple syrup in the winter. Her presentation made me want to add Quebec City to my list of places to visit once this pandemic is over.

Oh my goodness, my dumplings were so delicious and easy to follow along with Sunny to make them! I had enough leftovers to keep in my freezer for the week! Such a fun time with a great ending. Thank you!

This class was so much fun for all three generations of our family. Sunny shared information about her travels to China and background information on the food and culture. We appreciated her patience with everyone in the group. I would highly recommend this experience. I feel like we made a new friend in addition to an amazing meal.
