About your host

Studying art history and art-making, I’ve been involved in the contemporary art scene for most of my life. I am always excited at the extraordinary imaginative expression of great artists. Having worked at the Biennale of Sydney in a senior position, I'm well placed to reveal this fantastic international exhibition of some of the world's best contemporary artists.

What we’ll do

We will take a ferry across Sydney Harbour to the old industrial shipyard of Cockatoo Island, which is now the site for unique large scale sculpture and art installations by artists from around the globe. We will trek through the giant remnant industrial buildings to discover extraordinary artwork. Then we will explore the upper reaches of the island and its old colonial sandstone buildings,…

What else you should know

If it's bad weather we will relocate to the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay in the first instance, then take a later ferry when the weather clears or visit other Biennale sites.

Where you'll be
