What you'll do
Denver is the perfect launching point for a variety of hikes that take you deep into the Rocky Mountains (above 14k ft. for those in good physical shape). You will receive full guide service from a local mountaineer on a trip that suits your specific level of experience and interest. You also receive round-trip transportation and recommendations on food, gear, hydration, etc. Everything necessary to enjoy a famous Colorado hiking/backpacking experience.
As a native to Colorado, I’ve been exploring the backcountry and mountains of the state for over three decades. I’ve hiked/climbed many of the 14,000 ft. peaks (14ers) and backpacked through the majority of our world-class wilderness areas. The outdoors, and in particular, high-elevation, provides a humbling perspective that can only come from truly embedding yourself in the grandeur of Mother Nature. I would hope guests would gain a greater appreciation for the outdoors, and in the process, themselves.
