The second is to join us in this FOOD & CULTURAL experience! * 5 stops, all in local restaurants/shops run by families, some I know for more than 20 years. * 18 tastings - not only snacks but 'real' food also! * explore NOT ONE, but the 3 oldest Lisbon neighbourhoods: walkthrough History, the old and contemporary life (we walk in total approx. 2,5Km-1,6miles, in btw the 5 gastronomic stops, allowing us the perfect balance btw walking/resting). * leave with enough information and curiosity to explore other areas, from traditional to experimental gastronomy! 'Edible' recommendations included ;) Portuguese gastronomy has so much to offer: famous for its wine, meat and seafood, its 'conventual' desserts and much more; from Mediterranean influences and the legacy of Portugal's colonial history, namely in the wide variety of spices used. We will present you a selection of tastes, flavours, cultural influences and cooking techniques through small plates and the right beverage (wines, liqueurs, juice) while wandering through historic neighbourhoods and some of the hidden corners of the city.
