What an amazing tour. I am a DC resident and highly recommend everyone who is join - I learned so much about this part of the city, Black culture, the politics, the legacy of institutionalized racism. A unique and highly relevant subject these days, and Tim is passionate, informed and a delightful tour guide and storyteller!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on this tour exploring the city with Tim, and learning about DC's rich history filled with turmoil and triumph. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in visiting the DC area.

My friend and I throughly enjoyed this authentic tour. You can tell that Tim really knows his history and is invested in preserving the history of the real Black Broadway. Tim was very committed to delivering a comprehensive tour despite 95 degree temperatures. The topics covered are thought provoking and will spark more research in the future. Thanks a lot! Hopefully I will be able to take another tour with Tim in the future.

Awesome experience! Tim answered every single question I had and was very knowledgeable regarding the true history of DC. So sad to know that what once a thriving music/ jazz city no longer offering jazz lounges because they’re all shut down. Awesome experience 10/10
