About your host

I've lived in Chicago for 8 years and in the Chicagoland area my entire life! I've worked at an incubator in Chicago surrounded by entrepreneurs, I worked as a research assistant for the founder of the entrepreneurship center at DePaul, and I've worked for multiple startups.

What we’ll do

Learn about the entrepreneurs who built Chicago on this walking tour. We'll see the locations around the Loop where these titans of industry made their mark, turning what was once a small military outpost into one of the most innovative cities of the century. Focusing on the entrepreneurs during the time between Chicago becoming a city (1833) to the World's Fair (1893), you'll hear some names…

What else you should know

When the tour is complete, I'll be happy to walk back with the group to where the tour began and talk casually with the guests about any questions they have.

What to bring

Water to drink!
Walking shoes on your feet!
Sunscreen on your skin!
