One hour guided horseback rides in Whistler/Pemberton

Come join us for hourly rides along the dyke at the confluence of the Ryan and Lillooet River. The rides continue through quiet wooded forests, grassy fields bright with a display of wild flowers and even through one of the local rivers (levels permitting). The hour long rides show off the tranquility of the Pemberton Valley nestled under the watchful eye of Mount Currie.

The CCO partners have a great deal of experience in the saddle and in backcountry travel in general. The creation of Copper Cayuse Outfitters is an expression of their shared passion for horses and British Columbia’s wilderness. My partner Dudley and I provide hourly rides for our clients to experience western riding at a beginner level. After all everyone has to start riding someday.

Great experience with a very nice guide. There was a lack of organization in term of the booking. We booked for a 1h ride from 1pm-2pm with Airbnb but when we got to the ranch apparently we were scheduled for the 3pm-4pm ride. Don explained to us that sometimes when you book with Airbnb the time get mixed up. As an advice, I would make sure to give them a call as a booking confirmation before getting there and having to wait an extra 2 hours. Very unique and beautiful experience otherwise.

We did the one hour trip and left wishing we had done something longer. Everyone on staff was very nice. The horses were gorgeous and healthy and the scenery spectacular.

Sage led our group on the trail ride and she is obviously an experienced horsewoman. She made sure we were all comfortable with our horses and how to give them commands before we left the paddock. The horses were well behaved and easy for this beginner to ride! best part of the ride was through the river! I can recommend this trail ride especially for non-riders/ novice riders

Sage was the guide on this trip. She is very personable and loves what she does. I really enjoyed her. She gave us all the necessary tips and instructions for our comfort and safety, and paired each of us to the appropriate horse for our skill level. She was solicitous of us, making sure that we were all doing okay on our horses, and was clear with her instructions as she guided us on our nature ride through the woods, as well as safely across a river. This was a really fun experience and I absolutely would sign up for this company's adventure again!

My 9 year old son and myself had a great time on the 1 hour ride. The horses are very nice and well taken care of. We saw a deer and even a bear! Joshua who was leading the Ride made sure everyone felt comfortable. Would love to go on this experience again!

This was my first time horseback riding. I was super excited and really enjoyed the experience. I purchased the one hour tour since this was my first time. We had great leaders and I felt totally comfortable with the horse I rode, Chance. I’ll be coming back again for a longer trip next time. I can’t wait! Honestly what made the experience so great we’re Don and crew. I love that we encountered a black cub and deer!
