What we’ll do

At this workshop, you will make an original tumbler using kimono fabrics. You can choose from a variety of traditional Kimono cloths from up to 150 years ago. The word kimono literally means "clothing", and up until the mid 19th century it was worn by everyone in Japan. Where you'll be

We will meet at Shirkawa cafe (白川カフェ) , a small cozy cafe located by a beautiful river which is often used for photo shootings. It is close from central area of Kyoto City and famous tourist destinations, but also it is quiet and you can feel lifestyle of locals too.
