About your host

I want to share the recipes & traditions that I learned growing up in Poland and here in Canada. I remember watching my Polish-Ukrainian mother, grandmother and great-grandmother making delicious Polish cuisine, singing as they worked. I have a deep desire to pass on their recipes, traditions and songs. A fun, entertaining workshop is perfect for this!

What we’ll do

You’ll start with a cool cup of kompot, a traditional sweet Polish beverage prepared from several kinds of dried fruit. There will be a short presentation on Polish cuisine, then we roll up our sleeves (literally!) & dive into learning how to make Polish pierogi, with fillings including: Mushrooms with Sauerkraut & Onions Farmer's cheese with potato Dried Prunes for dessert Maria will…

Where you'll be

We will come together at Aphrodite Cooks, a wonderfully engaging event space just off Weston Road, in the west of Toronto. Housed in a newly renovated warehouse, Aphrodite Cooks is very welcoming, practical and modern. It is perfect for these kind of busy, fun workshops.

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements
