My passion for adventure and travel has led to me introducing over one hundred thousand people to adventure activities and expeditions around the World. During the last 40 years, I have travelled to over 130 countries. However, Scotland was where that passion was born and it is still my home and favourite place in the world. I believe stories are for sharing and during your experience you will be entertained by stories of not just Scotland adventures but from such exotic places around the World. Environments such as the Belize jungle, crossing over 1000 miles of the Gobi Desert on foot twice, the Patagonia ice cap and the Himalayas to name just a few. I am also a regular speaker at travel conferences and education establishments on digital leadership and transformation. I look forward to helping you experience my home.

Where you'll be

The collection is from Edinburgh Ingilston tram station or other locations by arrangement and we will then drive north into stunning Highland Perthshire to trek one of 15 Munro Mountains in this region. The weather will dictate the selection of the exact mountain. If the weather is too challenging we will do a section of a Scottish long-distance trail such as the Fife Coastal Path.

Peter was an absolutely superb host. I had hiked one Monroe before, but for my friends it was their first time, and all of us were simply awestruck by the beauty of the Highlands and thrilled by the entire experience. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a wild adventure, no definitely go into it knowing that the hike can be steep at times, and it’s definitely a work out. We hiked Ben Vorlich and got fog on our day, which lent a mystical quality to the day, though on a clear day I imagine the views would be spectacular.

Had a fantastic day on my first Munro hike with Peter. Started our trek from Loch Earn early in the morning towards Ben Vorlich with a drizzle, but the rain wasn’t enough to put me off. Peter’s stories from his expeditions around the world are very interesting to listen to, and of course it’s always good to hike with someone who has a very good knowledge of Scottish history. Highly recommend.

A great day with a very experienced guide Peter. We climbed Ben Vorlich which was cloudy at the top but it didn't take away anything from the achievement of climbing our first mountain ! We still got to see some beautiful scenery on the way up and down. Highly recommend.

The day hiking with Peter was better than expected! Details on where to meet were easy to follow and the hike itself was challenging but super rewarding. Would definitely recommend!

This is my first experience of mountaineering! Although it's hard for my physical strength! But I still like Peter's leadership very much! This must be an unforgettable hiking experience for me! If I have a chance, I will come back again!
