I am an experienced guide with the number one rated small tour company in London and will utilise these skills to create an unforgettable experience. As a keen cyclist, I've been exploring Kent by bike for several years since I moved to Margate from London and have found some stunning routes. Previously I owned and ran a night club in London, and now make music and digital content. As a photographer and videographer I have recently exhibited in the Turner Gallery and some of my photography, including pictures of the Margate coastline, are on show at The Eclectic Gallery in Margate.

Our ride with Colin from Margate to Canterbury was a superb way to spend a day! We got to bike along coastal cliffs; tour through the countryside on small, quiet streets; stop off at a pub for an impressive lunch (venison and rabbit both on the menu that day); and end up, after passing through some smaller forest trails, learning about medieval Canterbury. We rented bikes through Colin, and they were great for the route, which was quite flat and taken at an easy pace. As a guide, Colin was entertaining and friendly, and gave us a sense of the history of the places we passed through. Can't recommend highly enough!

My boyfriend and I recently took the Margate to Canterbury tour. We had such a lovely day. Colin had mapped the route out perfectly; which was about 22 miles, along the coast and then through the countryside to Canterbury. We stopped at a lovely tea spot and then a pub, which was a nice break along the way. Colin gave us some excellent highlights in Canterbury before heading back on the train to Margate. We did rent the bikes through him, and the only drawback would be bike comfort, but the ride and day were such a great experience! Would recommend to any one looking for a unique vaction experience.

Col’s bike tour was an incredible active day out. From Margate to Canterbury you ride along the sea and into the countryside, taking in breathtaking sights along the way. I don’t bike often, and yet found this ride completely manageable. Twas definitely helped by a lovely stops at a tea shop and pub. Definitely would recommend!

This bike tour is the perfect antidote to the year spent in lockdown. 20 easy paced miles from Margate to Canterbury along picturesque coastline, across majestic open countryside, through enchanted woodland and post-card perfect villages on the way to Canterbury. Local artist Colin is your guide, drawing on his experience giving tours all over the UK to share little known vignettes of the local area as well as entertaining historical facts about the history of Kent and the many gorgeous villages and old churches along the way. If a restoring, fun, and healthy day out is what you're looking for, this adventure is ideal. Colin sorted every detail, including cycle and helmet rental, and even went out of his way at the end of the tour to allow my fiance and I to book dinner in Canterbury and return to Margate on our own time. Highly recommend!

very good experience. I was the ride will be much harder than it turned out to be. mainly flat few hills but not steep. Beautiful country side with very little traffic. Colin had booked dinner at a pub which had excellent food. Colin is knowledgeable of the area and will provide lots of information. Highly recommended.

Bike Ride Colin was accommodating to our change in schedule and we instead went to Whitstable. From the outset when we met Colin at the train station he was helpful friendly professional and courteous. As the tour continued Colin pointed out places of interest and had stops along the way to both take in the history and scenery and to enjoy refreshments. The route was mostly flat allowing us all to take in the wonderful views while Colin gave us the history of the area, including the 3 headed ghost! Nothing was too much trouble for Colin, and he was quick to suggest places to go and also flexible to go with anything the group suggested. We encountered every weather condition from sun to hail on our 20 mile ride and despite being soaked to the skin we all thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend Colin’s tours!! We will definitely be back to take in the Canterbury trail.
