What you'll do
This food experience is probably the closest thing you will find to a "crash course" on Portuguese cuisine! During our Food experience you will visit 5 different restaurants/taverns in the Algarve, and taste around 12 of the most traditional dishes in Portugal.
We will take you into a journey during 3h00m on the fascinating historical and ancient part of the city, with real neighbourhoods, local history, architecture and city culture.
Our stops are places where the Portuguese go to taste, eat or drink in a relaxed environment. Perfect to be your first contact with the Algarve where we will give you all the information, knowledge and tips to discover this beautiful part of Portugal.

Maria & Luís
We are the Co-Founders of Eat.Drink.Discover - Algarve Food Tours, and we have worked in tourism and the travel industry for over 14 years. We love food, and believe that it’s at the table that meals and memories are made, where friends gather, traditions are born and stories are told.
Luís is also the Sales & Marketing Director for a boat charter company. He has been a tour guide for the last 20 years and shares a passion about food, travel and Portuguese culture.
Maria, the other half of the company, is a world traveller. She worked in travel industry most her life and is also involved in array local social projects. A marketeer at heart that lives, breathes and thinks food 24/7 :)
