About your host
With twenty years' experience teaching Chemistry and a passion for food, I decided to combine the two together! TheFoodLab is the result. A cookery school based on the science and process behind the creation of delicious food. 'Cooking, it's not Rocket Science'.
What we’ll do
This is a two-hour course with a mix of demonstration, a little doing, and lots of tasting! We will spend the morning preparing some classic brunch dishes and I will teach you some science-based techniques, like how to always make perfect poached eggs and delicious hollandaise sauce that will never split! Where you'll be
The venue is a purpose built teaching kitchen in the basement of our traditional Victorian terrace. It is only accessible via the cellar stairs.
