What you'll do

This workshop is a cultural and historical experience through food. Dynamic, the 3 to 4 hours experience allows guests to build together, under my guidance, a 3 courses menu of traditional Quebec food (Salted herbs soup, Quebec meatball stew and sides, poor man's pouding). Plus, you will also taste some local specialities and learn about maple syrup my family produce it. Recipes are easy to cook. You will learn some culinary tips, explore unknown ingredients, learn anecdotes and stories, and share and discuss. The menu will be cook in different steps, and eaten throughout the experience. There will be a cultural presentation and a visit to the ancestral home. Organized, but welcoming, relaxed and warm, the workshop also allows you to discover a historic district in Lévis, the New Liverpool. I will make you discover the essence of Quebec with recipes, stories, people and the pleasure of sharing the same table. A warm and authentic culinary experience.

Anne

I learned cooking by passion. For me, cooking is love and sharing. I first learned by her grandmother Germaine, who liked to receive a lot of people. I will share with you this same spirit and her recipes. I attended cooking classes around the world and developed an concept that integrates culture and cooking, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.
