What you'll do

Learn about of Casablanca & get professional photos in city

We'll walk through the labyrinth of streets of this ancient pedestrian quarter. You will not only feel the color of Morocco, but also look into the houses of local residents. Also you will discover an old town of Habous and all tiny market places of Casablanca. On the tour you will find out what Arabic souks have to offer: unique souvenirs, hand crafted accessories, artisanat cosmetics, delicious foods and many more.

Central market: traditions and cuisine
Not far from the Medina, you will visit the Central Market, where you can buy Moroccan souvenirs, argan oil, spices and dried fruits. You will learn about local traditions, customs and national cuisine, with which you will get acquainted more closely during the tasting of oysters and lunch. You will try Moroccan burrs, lentils with a thick sauce and meat tajine or couscous.

The French spirit awaits you an elegant quarter created by the French who arrived in Casablanca in the early 20th century. You will see beautiful mansions created by three European architects, and you will learn how and why the architectural style of Art Deco was born in Casablanca.

Really bad experience. Host showed up more than an hour late. We had to leave to get to our cruise ship on time and didnt get any tour at all.

Alex was an incredible guide - sharing so much history of the city I would have never learned elsewhere. I got to eat so many different cuisines and snacks (including fresh oysters!) while taking pictures around interesting pockets of the city. Would recommend to anyone who wants an intimate tour of the city filled with delicious food and photography 👌

Just do it! I thought I might be making a bit of a gamble in hiring Alex- he had yet to be reviewed on this site. What a payoff! We started mid-morning with a coffee at a cafe near the old medina, then a tour. Alex is throughly knowledgeable on Moroccan and Casablancan history, and multilingual (our taxi drivers praised his Arabic), which lent a great agility to our excursions through the medina. We also visited the new medina, the Hassan mosque, and the Art Deco neighbourhood. To bring: -Walking shoes (you’ll be covering a couple of miles on foot) - Water -Local currency. The wares at the old medina are truly unique (and delicious) -A sense of adventure. Alex is up for anything and is high energy- at one point we were climbing ladders onto rooftops just to see where they went. -Curiosity. Alex is endlessly knowledgable and can answer any question about Casablanca.
