What you'll do

I selected safe, quality, traditional establishments tested and awarded, where we can try some of the history-packed Brazilian foods, representing various regions of the country and the various migration waves that influenced who Brazilians are. I visited a great number of places and decided for the best itinerary possible that is accessible on foot, with a little bus or subway hop for an added opportunity of contact with the real Brasilia. I won't be showing you the famous official architecture that you can visit on your own, but there are 2 architectural bonus on our way. My goal is to introduce you to flavors, music and angles of this city that you wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Having traveled and joined food tours myself, I have a good idea of what is really different here and what is just another version of things you already have in the place where you live. We will start our tasting experience at the city center, then grab a bus or subway and walk through two commercial streets, with another 5 stops on our way. I try to pace stops and advise you on bites so that your stomach doesn't feel overwhelmed. Our final stop is a famous bar, where you can taste a couple drinks (if you are 18+). You can stay there for a night out, if you want.

Francisco

I’m a career officer and a food fan, having tasted all things you can imagine. I like to cook, to watch food documentaries, to read about food history and to collect travel books. After eating, my main passions is traveling. Having lived abroad for 7 years, I took part in walking tours and food experiences in cities of 35 different countries, around all regions of the world. Now, back to Brasilia, I combined the good tips I learned with my family's knowledge of this city to put together this experience, so as to can continue to meet diverse people and talk about food culture.
