What you'll do
25 mile beautiful and challenging ride. We will meet in Hayes Valley near the famous Blue Bottle coffee. We will then bike through the Pan Handle, Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, Sutro Baths, Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, have lunch in Sausalito, and then bike back over the Golden Gate bridge to San Francisco. The Bay Area is home to some of the best cycling in the country. Most bike tours are 6 to 8-mile rides stopping at the well-known tourist spots. Not this ride. We will take you on a 28-mile journey that shows you the hidden favorites of locals that your run of the mill ride can't deliver. We will equip you with high-quality road bikes fitted for your size, so you can feel good while taking in the views. Saddle up for sweeping vistas of mountains, city, and sea added with a bike-friendly culture make this one of the best places to hop on the saddle and go for a ride.
Kevin and Sam have been best friends for 10 years. They are avid cyclists who love showing San Francisco to friends and visitors. Kevin lead outdoor trips in college and Sam is a spin instructor. We often participate in 50+ mile charity rides or exploring the surrounding hills on the weekends. We are fun fact guru's who love sharing little tidbits of knowledge about this wonderful city.

Where you'll be
From the bike shop, we head west and explore Haight Asbury neighborhood home of the "Summer of Love" in 1967, continue into Golden Gate Park where we will see beautiful gardens, bison (?!?) roaming and historic windmills until we make it to the Pacific Ocean. We will head north across the Golden Gate Bridge for lunch at our local favorite market in Sausalito. Then bike back to the city stopping occasionally at a few of our hidden favorites.
