What you'll do
Do you want to learn how to make your own miso? You will learn to make your own miso from scratch in this fun and interactive cooking workshop. Miso is a fundament element of Japanese cuisine also known as a probiotic fermented superfood that helps support digestion and gut health. The miso will be made using organic soybeans, kōji (rice inoculated with Aspergillus Oryzae), and natural sea salt. You will also learn about the properties kōji fermentation and the benefits for your gut flora. In the end, you will create a jar of Miso to take home that will be ready for use in six months time. We will also be cooking vegan seasonal dishes together to enjoy for lunch. Hello! I am a Japanese cooking instructor and food stylist based in West London. I have been teaching Japanese cooking and facilitating food events in the UK and Europe since 2010.
