What you'll do
This will be a 2.5 hours relaxing experience immersed in nature! First, we'll all chill out, soften, relax and open up, so we can enter the natural, wild world of green leaves and rich earth. During the practice, you will get in touch with the forest, the plants and the surroundings. You will be surprised on how delightfully connected to nature and relaxed you will feel afterwards! After the warm up, I'll invite you into explorations. They're a secret - you'll find out at the time. There will be moments of playfulness, moments of stillness, and moments when you can share experiences if you wish. Since Shinrin-Yoku forest bathing came from Japan, we'll end with a tea ceremony.
I'm a certified ANFT Forest Therapy Guide who loves connecting with nature. My playful and explorative ways will draw out wonder and innocence we all once had. My easy-going inner stillness imparts a lovely sense of well-being and wholeness enabling you experience the natural world more deeply than perhaps you ever have. I am well-known in Ottawa as a speaker, workshop leader and facilitator and bring decades of experience facilitating groups for personal development, exploration and fun.
Where you'll be
We'll step off the pathways into winding paths and woodland clearings where we can relax more deeply and take our time to explore and open our senses wider. On hot days we'll be under the tree canopies, on cooler days out in the meadow. We'll also be by the water's edge.

Up to 10 guests aged 18 and up can attend.
We move at a slow, relaxed pace, so you don't need a high fitness level. If you don't speak much English, Kaia can use mime and movement. If you need to leave early, you can just let Kaia know.
