We will go around beautiful locations in Kyoto while I take photos of you in the best spots for pictures.

Kyoto has a long history of being the capital of Japan, so there are tons of historical landmarks. I want to guide you to the beautiful sites such as Yasaka Shrine, Gion district, Hokan-ji Temple and Kennin-ji Temple. While I live in Kyoto, I really love to spend time in those sites.

In Kennin-ji Temple, I have been attracted the change of the four season like cherry blossoms, beautiful fresh green leaves in summer, autumn leaves and snow scenes in winter. This is my most favorite spot to take pictures. In Gion district, you can enjoy view of Japanese traditional houses. In Yasaka Shrine, I really love to take a walk on holidays for relaxing.

Some of these spots are very popular for tourists, but I know some spots which are photogenic and less crowded.

I will also tell you how to enjoy Japanese culture, how to explore the ancient capital of Japan and how to travel safely in Japan.

Born and raised in Japan, an actor and a photographer. After I graduated from Osaka University, I moved to New York in order to work as an actor and a photographer. I also taught Japanese Language and Japanese culture to my friends in New York. After I came back to Japan, I have worked in a guesthouse in Kyoto as a receptionist and a concierge, and started photography service for tourists. As a photographer, I also take portraits, scenery photos and stage photos.

Akira is a really nice guy and I'm glad that I was able to spend time with him in this experience. He showed me around and took photos - and he was kind and thoughtful!

We met Akira at 10am and he guided us through several spots. We were able to visit less crowded places that we wouldn't have done without Akira. He answers our questions quite well and he talks about the places we're at. Akira made us feel comfortable so it was less awkward during photo taking.

We had a good time with Akira, who shared about the history of the sights we went to in addition to photographing us. Akira was happy to answer questions we had about photography and Japanese history. The photos are great! Akira has a talent for choosing particular angles from which to take photos, and each shot is framed in multiple ways so that you can have photos shot from different perspectives.

Akira took us to all kinds of beautiful spots for our photos and explained the history of the places we visited as we went along. He was friendly and the pictures were taken at unique, les touristy spots which we appreciated.
