What you'll do

On this full day tour, you will explore the history and beauty of 3 Scottish icons: lochs, glens and whisky, accompanied by a knowledgeable local who is passionate about all 3!
Leave Edinburgh heading to the Kingdom of Fife. As you travel north the scenery changes from rolling farmland to forested hills and mountains. On the banks of the River Tay make a stop in Dunkeld to explore the architecturally fascinating cathedral and quaint streets. From here, it's a short drive to the Hermitage, where you can stretch your legs on a scenic woodland walk to the Black Linn Falls.
Leaving the Hermitage, follow the wide valley of the River Tay towards the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry where there is time for lunch and shopping.
After lunch, continue your scenic drive through the mountains of Highland Perthshire, and take a short stop at the Queen's View overlooking Loch Tummel. On a clear day the view to the unmistakable peak of Schiehallion and beyond to the mountains of Glencoe is stunning.
Continue your journey into the ancient lands of Breadalbane. Make a stop at the waterside village of Kenmore before arriving at the town of Aberfeldy and Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery. Here you will discover the secret of how Scotland's national drink is made.
After enjoying a wee dram return to Edinburgh.
This experience is in a shared group but is also possible on a private basis, on request.

Duncan the tour guide/driver was terrific. Excellent driver, knowable, just enough information and appropriate music. He was also very good with the corney jokes 🤣

We loved this experience and it was much more than expected. Our tour guide was fantastic, fun, friendly and knew so much about the area and all about whisky. The places we stopped were absolutely beautiful and well thought out and the transportation was super comfortable as well. Top notch experience for a really great value. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

My partner and I had a great time on this trip. Our guide (Andy) was absolutely brilliant, very welcoming and funny. We saw some beautiful scenery in Dunkeld and Pitlochry (Queen's view alone is absolutely stunning) and a great time at the whiskey tour as well

Ieri abbiamo fatto questo tour con la guida Will, e’ stato molto gentile e disponibile per tutto il viaggio. Ci ha raccontato la storia del suo paese con molta passione e ci ha anche detto molti aneddoti!

Excellent tour, a highlight of our Edinburgh trip. We really enjoyed the structure of the tour and that you are given freedom to explore the destinations yourself. Probably the first tour I’ve been to where I didn’t get bored even for a second. The driver/guide is ace. Brilliant value for money; highly recommended!
