What you'll do

After fitting you out will all the necessary gear I will run through the basic kayak skills needed to get you on the water and enjoying the experience. We have numerous options in where we will go, based on the weather conditions of course. We could be heading towards the hydroelectric dam or towards Burgage manor. It could be towards either of the source rivers feeding the lake, the Liffey or the Kings River. What you will experience on any of our trips is an immersion in the local history of the families that gave up their land for the provision of hydroelectricity or be touched by nature, whether it be from the pike that stock the lake or even a visit from the deer coming to the shoreline. The beauty of the lake kayak tour is that you will never have the same experience twice.
