About your host

I´m a graphic designer and artist, who has lived in Nørrebro for ten years. Some of favorite areas in the hood is Jægersborggade and Assistens Cemetery. I´m very much into urban art/street art. I get inspired by the city, and things I can pick up from the street - colors, images, typography, etc... In addition to my work as a graphic designer, I have worked for many years teaching design.

What we’ll do

We will spend 3 hours together on Nørrebro doing Urban Sketching - in the area around Jægersborggade (also known as Little Berlin) and Assistens Cemetery. Enjoying the contrasts between the Hipster street and the beautiful cemetery/park. Along the way, I will guide you in urban sketching, as well as telling storys about Copenhagen and the places we draw - including a guided tour at Assistens…

What else you should know

Remember to bring reasonable clothes for outdoor sketching. It may be windy in Denmark! A small folded chair, could be good idea . Bring also some snacks and water.

What to bring

Where you'll be

We will visit the street Jægersborggade (also known as Little Berlin). The street is known for its authentic Nørrebro feeling, with classic 1900 century buildings and cobble stone street. Over the last 10 years the street has become one of the most trendy streets in copenhagen. The Assistens Cemetery nearby, is probably the most famous cemetery in DK. And its also one of the most beautiful parks in the city.
