What you'll do

Truly knowing a place is experiencing from the Sea. Grab your salty crew and hop on board Dr Claw with your local Captain Brad. This is your day on the water in Vancouver so lets do it all. Dr Claw comfortably accommodates up to 6 passengers and comes with the comforts like an iced up cooler, bluetooth stereo, crab trap, and your own personal captain... to the sunset we sail..

Trip Includes:

Meet up at Mosquito Creek Marina in North Vancouver - Gate 2 - it is a 5 min walk from North Vancouver Seabus Terminal or parking available at the marina.

Depart Marina - Destination Granite Falls. Travel up the Indian Arm Fjord - notable sights - Cates Park, Belcarra Park, Deep Cove, Bedwell Bay, Twin Islands Provincial Park, Abandoned Power Station, Silver Falls, Wigwam, Granite Falls Provincial Park.

Anchor up and Swim at Granite Falls. Falls are impressive and provide a nice cool down on a hot day. Great photo opportunities. Option to get off at the boat dock and check out the waterfalls. (dock space first come first served so may be swim in only to get to shore) but usually there is space.

Will also make the Boat BBQ available at this time so if anyone would like too BBQ up some prawns or a hot dog feel free! Bring along whatever you would like to BBQ.

We will then venture back towards Vancouver for some epic city, Stanley Park and sunset views in Coal Harbor & English Bay!

Captain Brad here.

Transport Canada Certified Small Vessel Captain at your Service

Always fishing for awesome crew and laid back leisure seekers to spend some time out on Dr Claw.

A bit about the Captain. Local BC boating and fishing enthusiast looking for any excuse to get out on the water. Likes chilling in the bay with a cold beer (when off shift of course), reeling in a lunker or jumping off the boat into some refreshing waters. Have been boating my whole life on lakes and oceans and rivers, in power boats, sail boats, kayaks and explorer 200's. Love a good day at sea with some great people. So lets get out there and have a blast!

Where you'll be

The waters surrounding Vancouver are very special. From sheltered bays to ice age fjords to open ocean. This experience takes you around metro waters like false creek and English Bay then off to places that seem miles away in Indian Arm, and ends with an epic sunset!

Our time on the boat with Brad was amazing! Our Captain was warm and accommodating, but also kept us safe. The boat was super clean and organized. Thinking of making this a yearly adventure!!!
