What you'll do
Once we've parked, made sure everyone has what they need and counted heads, we'll hike into the desert. It doesn't take many steps to be surrounded by nothing but rocky hills and cacti. It feels like the old west, circa 1801. On that note, we will use what is in the surrounding desert to get a little cardio and build muscle. Running up small hills, to do intervals and lifting rocks, for upper body strengthening. We will compete against each other, for best time, if you are so inclined. We will also do some stretching. Making sure everyone is loose, for the climb. Along the way, we'll try to spot Chuck (the chuckwalla) and his family. Sometimes they come out for photo ops. Even heading down hill, we will get some cardio. Everyone can do the hike at their own pace, but you should be in good shape, so as not to slow down the group, or your fearless leader, Sergeant L.J.

We will meet at the trail head, in the main parking lot and make sure everyone has the gear they need for a fantastic hike, with NO whining!

Up to 10 guests aged 13 and up can attend.
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
With plenty of water and good shoes, we will hike the rocky trails, in the center of Phoenix. We will climb over 1,000 feet and get lots of heart pounding cardio. You will need to be in pretty good shape. Bring 20+ ounces of water. No dogs please.
