Great experience with our host, Ben. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly! Only downfall is that alcohol is not provided at every stop, but overall, it was a very eventful and delicious tour.

We were able to enjoy the history of Carlsbad and we were fortunate with David. We loved the fact that he opened up about his career and his wifes'. He always had something to say whenever we asked a question or commented things we saw. The food was good, he was able to tell us the history of the owner of the restaurant and we were able to express our excitement to one of the owners. After each tasting, we had a chance to walk around the plaza. The options were great, we were able to buy more of the side for individual interest. After our tour, we went back to a restaurant for drinks and we were able to meet new people.

We had a great time learning the history of Carlsbad, touring various types of food and drink. We loved getting to meet new people as well. We had seven people in our group and that was a perfect size!

David was a wonderful host with lots of stories of local interest and history. He gave excellent recommendations for places to eat, shop, and walk. The history of the founding of the town and the interesting personalities that built it were an added bonus that made the day. And the food was really good too!
