What you'll do

October, November and December offer great sailing with warm weather, clear skies, and perfect wind. Book early for special Fleet Week Blue Angel charters Oct 8, 9, and 10.

Our Catalina 27 sloop delivers an unforgettable two-hour private sailing charter featuring spectacular views from San Francisco Bay. You will be welcomed aboard by her fun-loving and informative Captain, Larry, a U.S. Coast Guard licensed 30-year veteran of sailing on the Bay. During the sail Captain Larry will share his unique understanding of San Francisco Bay.

We cast off from Treasure Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay. Raising sails in historic Clipper Cove and heading northwest you will enjoy wide open Bay vistas of Angel Island, Alcatraz, Sausalito, Mt. Tamalpais, and the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge. Expect to see seals, sea lions, harbor porpoises, pelicans, and possibly a humpback whale!

As we approach the San Francisco waterfront you are rewarded with a unique view of the city's signature skyline. Next, we head south along San Francisco’s historic Embarcadero for a postcard view of the 1898 Ferry Building clock tower, followed by two thrilling passages under the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

No sailing experience is required to enjoy this family friendly outing but participation is welcome. Inquire for alternative itineraries.

I am a US Coast Guard licenced captain (Master, 50 ton near coastal) with over 30 years experience on San Francisco Bay and beyond. I recently returned from a two year sailing adventure with my wife and two children on the Mediterranean Sea and the Caribbean as Captain of a 50 foot sloop. Our best memories from that trip were connecting with local people in the many ports we visited. I hope to continue making those connections as I share my love for sailing and the beauty of San Francisco Bay with both novice and experienced sailors from near and far.

Captain Larry is a great host goving history of ships and the bay area in addition to positioning the sailboat for viewing Blue Angel flyovers!

I booked a trip for myself and 5 family members/friends. We had a super time. Captain Larry was a great host very informative, easy communicator who made everyone feel comfortable regardless of their level of sailing experience. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my sailing experience with Captain Larry! He is well experienced sailor, and very accommodating. In this tour I got to see the sunset and city lights! Oh, and dolphins 🐬 no words can explain. It’s a must!

This was a great experience! We signed up for this experience because we wanted a good vantage point to see the Blue Angels as a part of Fleet Week. Larry was incredibly accommodating! The seas were a little choppy and we could not let out both sails, but he made sure that we got the best view. He was also very nice and friendly. If we are in the area again, would definitely sign up for another trip!

This was a great experience to be out on the bay in a sailboat going up towards Angel Island with the Golden Bridge in the distance and then along the City front and underneath the Bay Bridge and a view of the east bay before turning back into the Treasure Island Marina. Captain Larry pointed out many of the landmarks, explained how the boat operates and even allowed us to help sail the boat. Larry was ever watchful of our safety while making sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Our sailing trip with Larry was amazing! His directions were very clear and we had no trouble getting to treasure island via MUNI and meeting up with him. The ride was very fun and we had incredible weather that made it better. I would recommend this for both visitors and SF locals!
