What you'll do

From our meeting point, (Via degli Annibaldi, 2) that is a stone's throw from Cavour metro station, in a few pedal strokes with our e-bikes we'll reach the Campidoglio hill, to enjoy the most astonishing sunrise you can see in the Eternal City. Then our ride we'll bring us to see the most panoramic spots in Rome: the sunlight is magic in the morning, and gives the city incredible colours.
Everyone is still asleep, so this will be the best moment to enjoy also the most tourist places with no stress, feeling the sensation of having the beauty of Rome all for you!
The e-bikes make the ride easy, almost effortless, but I think we deserve an Italian breakfast in the morning light all together, with a cappuccino and a fragrant cornetto!
Small groups (maximum 4 people) make the ride safer and you'll feel as having a ride with friends!

Ciao, I'm Emanuele and I'm a licensed bike guide, with a big passion for cycling and for my home town, Rome. I use to go out and ride at any time, night and day. That's how I discovered the magic of bikeriding in the early morning light, and I decided to share this magic and the unique view on my city that you can have riding when the city is still asleep. Last but not least, e-bikes can shorten the distances and flatten out the climbs, making it suitable for everybody!

Where you'll be

Our first stop will be atop the Campidoglio hill: my favourite place where to enjoy the sunrise in Rome. Aventino hill with a special surprise, to see some Rome out of the beaten paths; Villa Borghese with its gardens, its masterpieces of architecture and its views on the Romans roofs. Finally it's time to enjoy Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain shining under the morning light...

This was my third tour with Emanuele and was just as good as the other two. Cycling around Rome early in the morning is easily the best way to see the city - I would highly recommend it. The e-bikes are easy to ride so it’s not too strenuous, physically. Emanuel is a great host - always has something interesting to share and knows the city inside out! Highly recommended.

Fantástico! Amazing experience that provided a great glimpse of Rome from a unique perspective and a special time of day with no crowds! We covered a ton of territory with interesting commentary and historical references from Emanuele. Emanuele is a great guide and was courteous and cautious leading us through the off-the-beaten back streets and neighborhoods of Rome.

We had a great time! It was an amazing way to see many different parts of the city. Early in the morning there are no crowds. Emanuele made sure that we were safe. We enjoyed chatting with him over an espresso in the park. He had lots of interesting information about some of the sights we visited. If you’re looking to explore Rome in a unique way, this is it. Highly recommend!

Just the thought of waking up at 6am on vacation in Rome … we weren’t sure about that, but Emanuele made it 110% worth it. What a magical experience to cycle through Rome while it slept. By far the best experience we’ve had so far!!! Emanuele went out of his way to answer all our questions on Roman history and provided so much value to the ride by his knowledge of Italy and Rome. As far as riding, he couldn’t have been more patient with us, novice to experienced riders would enjoy! He was so generous with his time (way over our 3 hr time limit) but didn’t seem to mind. We didn’t want the day to end. We hope someday to return the favor if he/family ever visits California. We highly recommend this bike 🚴🏽 experience! Definitely a 10+ ……Will definitely do this again when we return!!! AND We WILL RETURN!!!!!! 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏽🚴🏾‍♀️🚴🏽🚴🏾‍♀️ Thank you Emanuele!!!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Rome. Even though we had to get up at 5a on our second day in Rome (really our first full day – we were tired!), the tour was extremely worthwhile. Emanuele is a great guide/host and an amiable person. He is able to adjust the tour (in terms of speed, level of detail, etc) to respond to your needs. The e-bikes were high-quality KTM models (with Bosch drive systems) that were very easy/comfortable to use. The bikes had a turbo mode that made climbing Rome's hills easy. Traffic was light, and we never felt unsafe riding bikes on Roman streets. The cornetto e cappuccino in the Borghese gardens was a great breakfast. This is a great tour for someone who wants to see Rome off the beaten track, before it gets too hot in the day, and/or is a first-time visitor and needs to orient themselves.
