What you'll do
* DATES ARE FLEXIBLE – Please message me for specific date requests :) From identifying plants parts to growth stages, to preparation, Matt will help you safely discover the best and most common edible wild plants in the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, discover favorite local spots that boast seasonal varieties that are ripe for harvesting. Foraging for wild food is a great way to experience the natural world and connect with something ancient and primal within ourselves. Depending on your interests, we can tailor the experience to your liking—whether you're looking to forage for something specific or just want to get immersed in a lush old growth forest while munching on berries :)

Where you'll be
As to not overharvest, we never take the same path twice. We will likely venture deep in Forest Park, Mt. Hood National Forest, or one of the many other lush food forests close to Portland. And while we'll start on a designated trail, there will be times we might veer off the beaten path. Wherever we end up and whatever we find, we will certainly get some nourishing nature time within some of the Pacific Northwest's oldest trees.
