What you'll do

The main idea here is to provide one unique experience in a place with a typical Brazilian party, with local music (MPB, samba). You'll find a place that is not famous even for most part of local people and it is not in Zona Sul!The party starts at the afternoon and it ends about 10 PM. In the party place we're going to find beer and Brazilian snacks for selling, so you can choose what to try or not. Before the party, however, I'm going to meet you in Carioca subway station so that we can have a quick tour in the area. We are going to a special coffee shop to eat/drink something before go the party and we also can take a quick tour in some historical points in Centro (Downtown) of Rio.If you want some other specific place we can arrange to meet there. You can ask what's the reason of this tour and here is the answer: I did this tour with a foreigner friend and she really loved! Although all his plans before arriving, she have never heard about this party or place and she really felt what really is the Samba and party for Brazilian people. I can guarantee that you're going to listen, dance and feel the music as a local and not in a "gringo" place as it happens for tourists.Join me!

What's included

Tickets
The tickets for the party I'll pay.
Transportation
An Uber or cab in part of our transportation, which I'm going to pay. The subway ticket is a guest expense.

Victor

I'm a Carioca who really loves Rio and like to show how the city is for a true local, not only for tourists.Eating good food and drinking coffee is one of my favorite things and my friends are always surprised with the places I introduce them! I love Centro of Rio (Rio's Downtown) because of its plenty history and coffee shops, which I've been for more than 10 years. I also participated in guided tours in Centro of Rio, what gave me a lot of insights. As a traveler, I always try to look for true local experiences. My last adventure was a 10 days bike traveling in Minas Gerais this year.

Where you'll be

We are going to visit a very special place to me: a big and wonderful coffee shop, actually a bright spot in Rio modern scene.I'll show you the place and tell about their short history. After this quick tour, we are going to the main part of our tour: the Brazilian music party, to enjoy some of the Carioca and Brazilian culture in a true local place. There you're going to feel as a local, because it's a place off the main 'roads' for tourists

More tips

Concerning bags/backpacks: in public transportation or in the streets always keep an eye in them. Rio is a big city and have the same problems. I know the places we're going and how to be safe there.
