Carol is a good talker as he explained the things I do not understand patiently. I learnt a lot from his knowledge or experiences. His recommendations for food and bars are also useful. This was a really nice and unforgettable tour and he is a nice and lovely person.

Fantastic tour with a well-prepared and friendly guide. I really enjoyed how Carlo has created a personalised tour with information and stories that were striking to him and how he was able to spark our interest and create a basis for dicussion as well. The spots were well-chosen and we had a nice walk around Glasgow and plenty of time to chat and ask questions. The tour definitely made our visit to the city even more memorable, not least because of the delicious shortbread we got at the end :) Thank you!

Carlo is a good spokesperson for the community, he’s very kind. He gave us a good overview of the LGBTQ+ history in the UK, focusing on Scotland, including some anecdotes. There was plenty of time to have a conversation and a laugh and we smoothly explored the city center together. We were even a bit late for the tour, yet he ran overtime at the end and was just so nice and considerate. 5/5

Carlo is friendly and really passionate about the queer history of Glasgow, and I both had a great time and learned a lot. Highly recommend for people of any sexual orientation because it’s great to hear the history of a place that you won’t hear in more general tours.
