What you'll do

I offer you a discovery of natural wines. You will taste 5 wines chosen among the following domains: Les Frères Ozil (Ardèche), le Domaine Jo Landron (Loire), Fabien Jouves (Cahors), Opi d'Aqui (Languedoc), le Mas de mon Père (Languedoc), Sons of Wine (Alsace), Les Fères Soulier (Côtes du Rhône), Brendan Tracey (Loire), etc.

I will explain my choices, I will talk about the work of the winemaker, in the vineyard as in the cellar, I will tell you the specificities of each terroir, you will understand why a wine is "natural" and its particularities. I want to show you that some natural wines are vinified like great wines by great winemakers.

Graduated from SupAgro, I am passionate about raw wines. Throughout the year, I travel along the wine routes to meet winemakers who who produce natural wines made with organic vines, free from any input during vinification. I meet them, I taste and select wines. I choose them because they reveal a varietal, a terroir or a philosophy of winemaker.
In Sète, I make you taste my discoveries by sharing a convivial moment during thematic tastings. I will explain why I prefer natural wines and why I chose these wines and winemakers.

With nice atmosphere of small old port, we could enjoy senses of different nature wines from local areas, selected by Fred's deep knowledge and sensitive taste. Fred was so kind to help us to enjoy tasting each character of wines which were all new to us, explaining their back ground and with delicious tapas of good marriage. It was great!

We had really nice wine and good tapas which fitted to the wine. We learned about the regions in southern france and a little bit about grapes and wine production. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. Fred and his staff were very kind! I would do it again, definitely!

An olfactory and gustatory journey sat at a wineshop with a wine guide. Calling it a wine shop sells it a bit short. Calling Fred a wineguide sells him a bit short. In a nutshell- he's an expert and he is passionate about what he is selling. "Natural" wines was a new concept for us, passionatrly and well explained by Fred. but now that we are aware of it, and have tasted such wines, it's unlikely we'll be going back to run of the mill concoctions. You get a selection of 5 or so wines, of various hue and flavour. We were pleasantly surprised by both the reds, one very pale, almost rosé (Olivier Cohen ) and the violet merlot. To put it into perspective, I usually do not like red wines. With this you get a small plate of various foods. We paid 18 euros each, and we're quite happy with this. I forgot to mention, the location is on the main square, so it's easy to find and there was plenty to look at. All in all, good experience at a fraction of the price of other wine tastings on offer.

Had a great time. We got stuck in traffic and arrived late and Fred and his team were very accommodating so we didn’t have to miss out on any part of the experience. Friendly atmosphere, nice food and obviously fantastic wine. Hope to go again :)

Très bonne expérience ! Nous avons pu goûter plusieurs vins naturels très bons et qui change des vins traditionnels. De plus, le prix est très correct pour la prestation. Je recommande très fortement ! ☺️
