What you'll do
Let's jump into a street photography clinic like never before. Sunday is definitely the best day to enjoy Guadalajara on a bike during the a mass recreation event called Via Recreactiva, where many streets are car-free and it gets packed with cyclists, runners and walkers, so is the safest way to explore downtown with a camera on 2 wheels. We're gonna start with a few urban photography tips to get you in the mood of sharing the best-in class pictures of downtown to post in your favorite social network. Afterwards, we’ll pick up our bikes at one of the many convenient Mibici bike-sharing stations. Then we’ll pedal down heading downtown along Via Recreactiva and stop for many ideal photos of downtown parks and architecture. As we go through Juarez Avenue I'll tell you stories about some of the local characters and history scenarios of Guadalajara. We're gonna end our journey in the world-class museum Cabañas Cultural Institute, after a few hours cycling and a few drinks and snacks, this should be the perfect moment to continue exploring the city at the museum. During our journey we may stop to take some rest, eat some snacks on some of the many local shops.
I was born and raised in Guadalajara and in love of my beautiful city: its culture, history and traditions. I've been related in hospitality and involved in projects to promote a sustainable development of a greater city by promoting the use of the bike and I'd love to share a bike experience with you. As a photographer, I'd love to give you some advice in our downtown bike tour to capture beautiful shots from Guadalajara, while enjoying our ride. As a bike enthusiast and Guadalajara lover, I bet you'll love a bike-based dive into history, and food just like this one!

Where you'll be
We're going to explore the heart of Guadalajara from Americana neighborhood to Guadalajara Downtown. We're going to start in one of the most (if not the most) photographed landmark in Guadalajara: La Minerva monument. That'd be a perfect spot to start practicing our urban photography. Our tour will be packed of history, culture and local stories and see by ourselves the evolution of the city through the architecture and its people.
