About your host

(Please emaiI nickym21@gmail.com to open a convenient time to book online) I am a farmer's wife (married to Farmer Tom) living on a traditional 1850s Victorian farm. I have worked as a travel agent, swimming teacher and French teacher - to name just a few of my career choices! I enjoy…

What we’ll do

PLEASE EMAIL OVER WINTER TO ARRANGE TOUR. When you first arrive, we will tour the farm yard, look at the impressive, modern farm machinery and meet the animals (cows, horses, dogs and cats). We will then look at the seeds we grow (rape seed, wheat, beans, barley and oats) and I will explain what they are used for - learn where your food comes from. After this, we will do a 20 minute woodland…

What else you should know

The farm track can be muddy and uneven so regrettably the woodland walk is not suitable for people with restricted mobility. We will be walking for about an hour with stops, then back for tea & cake.

What I’ll provide

Snacks
Cakes, biscuits, etc
Drinks
Hot/cold drinks Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or squash

What to bring

Coats and sensible walking shoes or boots in case it is muddy or wet.
