About your host

I'm a life-long Londoner and have been leading surprising walks here since 2012. I'm the founder of Dotmaker Tours: walks to change your perspective. What we’ll do

London has a reputation as a fast city. It's a place that's constantly changing, full of rushing people. This surprising guided walk is a chance to think about the city afresh. We'll rediscover London as a slow place, and see how it feels and what we notice when we slow ourselves down. We'll start the walk at Cleopatra's Needle, right on the River Thames. What else you should know

We'll be outdoors all the time, so do dress for the weather (e.g. bring sunscreen & a water bottle in the summer, wrap up warm in the cooler months, and have an umbrella with you if it might rain).

Where you'll be

We'll be exploring the area around the Embankment, West End and Covent Garden. We'll duck into hidden courtyards and back-alleys that most Londoners don't know about. But we'll also spend time in some of the busiest, most touristed spots. There, we'll notice things that most people completely overlook. We'll spend time being completely still while London spins around us. By the end, you'll see this city in a completely different light.
