What you'll do
Our walking tour will introduce you to entrepreneurial life in Tallinn, offering you the unique experience to learn the basics from a local startup entrepreneur who has seen it all. A former tv performer originally from Austria, I now run my own local startup. Over the past 2 years, I have been a participant in many a hackathon in Estonia and Latvia, as well as participated in accelerators. My network is international and vast, and I am always happy to share to help other innovators (or the innovation curious) to grow and learn. For the past 8 months, I have worked as a local guide for Lokafy, hence am also a source of knowledge on how to integrate best into the local culture and mindset (if relocation is an issue). During our tour, we will walk from Hobujaama to Telliskivi, learn about local startup, investment and entrepreneurial culture as we pass by a few of the most famous startup incubators, accelerators and startup facilitators. Throughout our walk, we will give you the knowledge to navigate the scene fast and efficient as a newbie e-resident, entrepreneur or startup investor. Connect with the local ecosystem, accelerators, VCs, investors, and co-working spaces. Learn how to approach Estonian culture, and life in general, as a curious, foreign investor or entrepreneur. Save precious time by knowing who to talk to, how and when. Book your experience now!
Hello, Grüss Gott and tere! I am an Austrian e-commerce entrepreneur and performance artist (hence the fancy costume pic). I originally stumbled upon Estonia via their e-residency programme. Eventually, I decided to move to Tallinn, because I fell in love with the country and the people. Hence, I designed this programme to introduce other people to Tallinn as a location for doing business, and help (potential) e-residents get to know the place better. As a former Lokafy Guide, and with my unique perspective on Tallinn, I can give you both a cultural as well as an economic overview on Tallinn.
Where you'll be
From general, practical knowledge on how to navigate here as a foreigner (on business), sightseeing tips and shopping, as well as introducing you to the business centres, incubators, and workspaces, I can also give you tips on where to get authentic, Estonian food, and see some amazing places regular tourists rarely to never get to see.
