I'm an arts educator with 10+ years of experience teaching art history and getting people exited about art. I've taught and worked at multiple museums on the West Coast, including the Getty Museum, the Norton Simon, and the Pacific Asia Museum in Los Angeles. I currently live and work in Seattle, and have been deeply involved with the visual arts scene.

My favorite thing is to walk the city, taking in the incredible urban art and architectures, the murals, and public art installations! I want to share my passion with you, and take you on an art walk tour like you've never experienced before

Where you'll be

We'll most likely wind our way from Pioneer Square towards
Downtown, making our way through various streets and alleyways in the Belltown area to peak at murals and look at five or six sculptures. We will finish our walk at the Waterfront by the Olympic Sculpture Park.

Very informative and it was very nice to see parts of the city and take time to focus on Public art that someone like might myself might walk right by without a second thought. Learned a lot about the art as well as it's connection to the city! Great Tour!

Sarah was great! She has expert knowledge about the arts in general and definitely does her research on the pieces she shows on the tour. While all the pieces shown are publicly accessable, some are hidden away or easy to miss so I don't think I would have seen them otherwise. For those that are more obvious, Sarah's commentary still provided insight and an experienced perspective on the pieces. Would recommend. Oh and she was pretty chill about scheduling times too.

The tour was a great way to know the public art as well as a bit of the city history. Sarah knows a lot about art and gives a background info on each piece as well as some opinion on it. I have learned not only about Seattle but also about art in general. Highly recommended!

This tour is awesome. Sarah did a great job incorporating the Seattle city old history and recent updates. It started from public arts, but you could talk with Sarah about everything beyond that and she is such an amazing person to talk to. From the trip, I got the chance to know both the culture, the characteristics, and even some fun facts about the business of the city. As a foodie, I also got a good recommendation for restaurant in Pike Place Market. Strongly recommend.
