My grandmother liked coffee. I remember the aroma of freshly ground coffee, music, and air conditioning of an old coffee shop I went with my grandmother. I started my own coffee shop in 2012, but my grandmother had already passed away so I couldn't make a cup of coffee for her. My passion is the provision of freshly brewed coffee, and I want to promote fresh coffee and enjoy the original rich flavor. I'm so excited that I can share my passion with many people through coffee. and most importantly, I hope people can be healthy and have a happy eating habits.

Where you'll be

My coffee shop is located by the Takase River, which is a canal in Kyoto. There are many cherry trees along the river so you can enjoy seeing blossoms in spring. You will see an old building at the end of the street—Nishikiyamachi-Dori from Shijo-Dori—heading to the south. A small signboard reading "MonoArt Coffee Roasters" will be on your right.
