What you'll do

We'll meet up at Parque Mexico in Condesa neighborhood and then we'll get a Uber to the flea market (a 30-minute trip aprox.)

This flea market is called Tianguis del Salado, which is located at the East side of the city in the surroundings, and it is only available on Wednesdays.

In this vintage flea market, we'll learn and explore the ancient Aztec tradition of the TIANGUIS (mobile market) and get to see the non-touristic side of the city with the company of an academic, who will ensure your personal safety and explain you the social problems and realities of the lowest social classes in Mexico City.

Even though this is not a usual touristic experience, it does not mean we are not enjoying it. In this flea vintage tianguis you'll be able to get hard-to-find books, vinyl records, antiques, art, toys, and other rare items at a reasonable and affordable price.

Later, you'll enjoy some authentic and tasty tacos and learn and understand the ritual of eating tacos and the importance of this special culinary event for the Mexican people.

Finally, you'll get an Uber back to Condesa or another centric are you might want to go.
Other things to note
This is NOT an touristic experience, so that it is not recommendable for people who are not willing to know the other side of Mexico City to learn more about its social problems and reality.
