Hi, I'm Diego!
I'm from Buenos Aires, and I like to share our traditions. Tango is part of my way of being, and above I love cooking. So, I decided to organize this experience to teach you how to dance tango while we do a tasting of empanadas and wine. The empanadas are homemade, prepared exclusively for each experience, to the taste of the participants.
I have been dancing tango for more than 15 years, and I like to teach it as an encounter and a way of communication between the participants.

Where you'll be

They will know the most important places in the history of tango, the neighborhood where our culture and identity began.
They will have a fun and personalized tango class, far from the typical stereotype generated for tourists; the tango of truth, the tango of us: those who live in Buenos Aires.
And we will share a typical Buenos Aires practice: the conversation at the end of the experience, during the tasting of wines and empanadas.

We had a great informal Tango lesson which was perfect for us, as absolute beginners. Very enjoyable and nice to have a chat over a glass of wine afterwards.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Although we arrived twenty minutes late due to traffic, Diego and his wife were very welcoming, and we quickly got to our lesson. It was quickly apparent how much pride they had in sharing this beautiful dance with the world. I won’t claim to be an expert dancer after the lesson, but I got an insight into the history and meaning of tango & Buenos Aires that I don’t think I could’ve gotten from a “touristy” tango show. After our lesson, we sat for what seemed like hours, eating delicious homemade empanadas, downing two bottles of Malbec, and talking about life with our host and two other guests. 10/10, would recommend to anyone!

This was such a great and unique experience. We had a wonderful time. Diego and Catalina made us feel totally comfortable learning something completely new to us, and practicing Spanish with them over food and wine was really special. Everything about our experience felt authentic and genuine. Muchas gracias por todo!

Authentic tango experience: Diego and his lovely wife made us feel welcome and relaxed, they taught us basic steps in a fun hour, followed by delicious empanadas and wine, over chats with the group. Really great evening.

Diego and his wife are very nice and interesting people - but we felt that they are overloaded with all they do. It was all a bit hectic and the explination in English was very short.

Nothing but great things to say about Diego and his wife! They were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The studio is also a cool place and made the experience feel unique. In our group there were 3 people (me, my friend, and another person). The other person happened to have a lot of experience and I felt Diego couldn’t “waste time” teaching us because it would leave the other person bored. As a result, I only learned 1 step the entire hour experience and I was hoping to try out a bit more!
