What you'll do
Since the tea ceremony begins with a meal, let 's enjoy "Ninja lunch" first. This lunch is a Japanese specialty dish of only vegetables without using any animal products. Even Vegans, you can eat with confidence. Next let's enjoy Japanese confectionary. Many Japanese confectionary express the seasons, they use rice and beans, are zero in fat, and is very good for health. Next, let's watch "Otemae" by the host. "Otemae" is a ritual performance in which we turn the ordinary act of making tea into a series of beautiful movements. Because of this Otemae, Sado is not a mere act of eating and drinking but can be called traditional art. Next, let’s enjoy Matcha. The sprouts of tea leaves are shded from the sun a month before harvest. The tea leaves are carefully grown in the shade, then picked and dried. Every stem and vein is removed so that only the flesh of the leaves remains. Finally, the leaves are milled by a storn mill to become fine matcha tea powder. Finally, guests can try to drink tea. The host will teach you how to make Matcha carefully. Afterwords, there is a special gift from the host. Please look forward to enjoying this experience.
