My name is Caryma Sa’d. I am a practicing lawyer, with work featured on various media outlets including Associated Press, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Sing Tao, Ming Pao, Toronto Star, VICE News, CityNews Toronto, and CTV Television Network. During this hour-long walking tour experience, you will visit some key legal landmarks in the downtown core. At each stop, I will share some insight into the past and present of the Canadian justice system. Participants will have the opportunity to explore historic and contemporary buildings and ask questions about civil and criminal law in Canada.
Where you'll be
Will take guests into courtroom gallery at Old City Hall to observe criminal and/or civil proceedings. I have knowledge of proper courtroom etiquette and protocol, so guests can be assured they will not be out of place. Guests will also tour the Great Library which is a bit off the beaten path for most tourists.
