What you'll do

On day one we'll travel to one of the Northwest's most amazing places within a few hours of the town of Poulsbo WA. Usually our adventures will be somewhere on the Olympic Peninsula or in the Cascade mountains. We'll drive to a trailhead, hike to our location and get down to the business of making beautiful images. I will adapt to your experience level and show you what you need to know to shoot raw images that are beautifully composed. After a 3-5 hours we'll head back home.
Day two: we'll meet up at a local Poulsbo craft brewery and spend a few hours editing raw images in Adobe Lightroom. You'll end up with the knowledge to lead your own adventures and create beautiful photos that capture your vision of the great outdoors.

I've been adventuring and shooting photos for over 20 years. I love to mountain bike, backpack and kayak around the Northwest. I've learned to adapt to all the conditions the Northwest throws at me and still come away with an image that I can be proud to share.

In addition to photography I'm an accomplished videographer and graphic designer. I know my way around the adobe suite and with decades of experience I can make all those pixels do a dance that matches my vision.

Marrying my passions has been my ultimate goal and sharing these adventures with others magnifies the experience for me.

Where you'll be

Whatever photo location we'll be visiting there are hidden spots to get the perfect shot. I've been to all these locations many times and I know the ins and outs of how to find them and where to setup for the best shots. You'll be able to focus on taking the shot instead of figuring out where it is!
