My name is Robert Agrippino i was born and still live here in the North End of Boston( Little Italy) in 1958. We will feast on food culture and personal stories of this unique neighbourhood. My guest will experience all the changes that have taken place and the gentrification that started happening in the late 70s. I grew up taking my first job as a dishwasher in one of our local restaurants and then becoming a busboy a waiter and learned the restaurant business from a couple of Italian immigrants and going on to opening my own restaurants. I know all the best establishments and all of the shopkeepers which makes for an authentic experience. The shops we visit are all places that I myself and the locals eat in. There are NO tourist traps on this tour. We will eat like REAL ITALIANS and along the the tour we will meet REAL ITALIANS.

Robert is a gem of a human. He gave my boyfriend and I the best food tour we've ever experienced and presented the most perfect blend of history, tasty food, and personalization. Book with him!! Took us to all the best hidden spots in Little Italy Boston and was an experience for the books.

This tour was much more than I anticipated and extremely worth the price! We were introduced to some of North Ends greatest and most authentic gems. Bobby’s narratives from his childhood of the neighborhood made you feel like you lived through the times. We visited Italian staples with AMAZING foods, Mike’s famous ricotta cannoli, Policari’s fresh coffee, different Salumerias with proscuitto, cheese and olive oil and balsamic tasting, and the best pizza Ive ever had! You will NOT leave hungry. Bobby even accommodated us by allowing us to sit for a drink at two of our stops. At the end of the tour, Bobby made several suggestions as to where to dine for the remainder of our trip. We plan to visit again!

This experience was more than worth it. I first want to call out that Bobby was able to accommodate my gluten free allergy at every location which was an amazing surprise. The experience was well laid out so we had time to sit and eat but there was enough walking and learning in between so just as you walked off one meal, you started the next. If you can't tell Bobby is a local of the neighborhood by the way he can describe what life was like growing up in the area before the Italians were pushed out then you'd know when he sees someone he knows on every block! Even in the winter this was the perfect activity for everyone. Bring your money for the amazing, exclusive foods you'll find along the way!

This tour is a must when visiting Boston!! Robert does an amazing job of covering all the basis when it comes to the little Italy of the North end. He was able to personalize everything with his own stories and relations to the district. We enjoyed hearing all the history from a native himself and getting all the good food at the hidden gems. He meticulously picked out some of the best food that was perfectly selected for this tour. 10/10 would highly recommend!! Side note-we went during Covid times and it was extremely safe and covid friendly :)

Hands down the best tour in Boston. So many unique stories Robert shared and his depth and knowledge about the North End was amazing. I remember joking with Robert asking him if he’s the mayor of little Italy because literally everyone knows Robert. Robert brought us to the little mom and pop shops that you might not find otherwise if you did any other tour just because of his life long roots of knowing the people in his community. The passion Robert conveys to his guest on the tour is very clear from the first few moments you spend with him. You will not be disappointed!
