What you'll do
Together, we’ll appreciate several bronzes and porcelains in different ancient china dynasties. And explore the moral of each collection. Different symbols represent different meanings, and the use of them is strictly supervised according to the user’s social status in ancient china society. Besides, there’re some widely-used symbols which represent common good wills among ancient Chinese peasants. For example, the bat on the vases means good luck, so that it is widely printed on the porcelain vessels.

We'll enter Shanghai Museum. It's the best place in Shanghai for us to appreciate the prestigious porcelains and bronzes. The number of collection, especially bronzes, is vast there. So that we will be able to compare different vessels to better understand those mysterious symbols. All the collections are maintained well. That really provides us with a splendid, incomparable platform.
