What you'll do

We will start off the day on the search for the best waves, using my local knowledge we will drive to check the beaches for the best surf spot for your level. On finding the perfect spot, we will pitch umbrellas to mark our base, and then we will start our surf warm up and theory on the beach. After this we will be in the water putting the theory into practice - our morning sessions last 2.5 hours. For lunch we take this picnic style on the beach including my favourite seasonal fruits for snacks. The afternoon I will be there to supervise your 'free-surf' session, the perfect chance to practice we learnt in the morning.

When all of this is done - I hope you will join me for a traditional mint tea at one of my favourite beachside cafes!

Join me is soaking up the Moroccan surf culture and sharing my passion for the beach and surf.

My name is Hassan el Madi, I'm a local surfer with a big passion for the beach, surf and my village, Tamraght. I started surfing at age of 12 and have been instructing for 6 years now - I set up my own surf school last year with my partner as having worked with many of the larger household surf camps in the area, I decided I wanted to do something smaller with more focus on good teaching ratios (4 students per instructor only) allowing more attention and progression. I am also passionate about football and love an impromptu match at the beach. I'm an ISA level 1 surf instructor and life saver.

Hassan is a good teacher but if it possible ask about individual experience! We were 3 friends in a group and surfing is really hard thing to study it with other people! Individual would be better! Snacks and atmosphere are perfect))

Unbedingt machen!! Es war ein wundervoller Tag, wir hatten soviel Spaß! Hassan war immer da, er ist auf jeden individuell eingegangen und hat sich gekümmert, das es jedem gut geht. Wir drei sind alle zum ersten Mal surfen gewesen und durch Hassan hat das super funktioniert! Wer in Agadir und Umgebung Urlaub macht, sportlich ist und ein tolles Erlebnis haben möchte, sollte unbedingt diesen Tagestrip mit Hassan unternehmen! 5 Sterne für den Trip und für Hassan‘s unglaublich liebe Gastfreundschaft!!!

Le choix est vaste lorsque vient le temps de trouver un professeur de surf dans les environs de Taghazout/Tamraght/Agadir. Donc pourquoi choisir Hassan? Tout simplement parce qu'il se soucie honnêtement de nous : il s'assure constamment que nous ayons du plaisir et que nous nous sentions en sécurité. Si c'est la première fois que vous faites du surf, il vous montrera les bases avec grande patience et beaucoup d'encouragements, car il a ce désir sincère de vous voir réussir. Je recommande à 100% car il n'y a pas mieux, croyez-moi! p.s.: si vous restez plusieurs jours et que vous vouliez vivre l'expérience d'un camp de surf, je vous suggère d'aller faire un tour du côté de son école de surf Shaka Surf Morocco.

Absolutely a great experience. Hasan has given us a whole day.Everything explained to us and a lot of us helped. During the day he had prepared a super snack. All day we really enjoyed and definitely recommend.
