What you'll do
We will visit the local market to soak up the atmosphere and taste a variety of olives. You will experience shopping like a local, visiting the stands and interacting with the friendly vendors.
We will then take a walking tour of the historic centre of Jerez and visit some iconic flamenco monuments. During the tour you will learn about different flamenco rhythms and we will practice these rhythms by clapping and counting them. We will then visit a traditional tabanco for a sherry and tapas tasting while watching an authentic flamenco show. During the show you will be able to identify some of the rhythms learned during the tour, giving you a deeper insight into what goes into a flamenco performance.

We had an excellent time with Amarita. She instantly adapted her tour to our interests. She showed us several things we had completely missed on previous visits to Jerez. We enjoyed every minute. The flamenco and tapas were an added bonus. Go on this tour!

The flamenco show itself was very enjoyable and seemed authentic (I’m not an expert) with some tapas (but this was not a gourmet tapas experience). The preamble needs development to make this tour more interesting and informative. The host was friendly and welcoming.
